Toll tax will be deducted even if FASTag is not recharged! NHAI is bringing new technology

0

A big news has come out regarding FASTag and toll plaza. Let us tell you that FASTag was started to reduce the line at the toll plaza and to get rid of the jam, but after this, sometimes there used to be a line at the toll plaza due to lack of recharge or low balance in the FASTag.

In such a situation, a notification was issued by NHAI to solve this problem and it was decided to keep the recharge window open for 70 minutes, but now another new step is being taken by NHAI to avoid the line at the toll plaza. In this, it is being said to link the FASTag and the bank account, so that the line at the toll plaza ends.

How to get relief from traffic jam?

NHAI is preparing a new plan to free people from traffic jams. Preparations are being made to link Fastag, smart number plate and bank. Talks are being held with banks in this regard. By linking HSRC (High Security Registration Certificate) and bank account, there will be no need to stop at the toll plaza.

Auto debit service will be implemented!

It is being said that in the coming time, the system of auto debit will be adopted at toll plazas. The vehicle’s number plate and Fastag account will be linked to the banks, after which there is no need to stop at the toll plaza. As soon as the vehicle’s number plate is read at the toll plaza, the toll tax will be automatically deducted from the Fastag account.

With auto debit, movement at toll plazas will be free flow. Let us tell you that the government is moving ahead with MLFF i.e. Multi Lane Free Flow. Before satellite toll, there are preparations for convenience through MLFF. However, global tenders have been called to ensure data privacy in the Global Navigation Satellite System.

Preparations to begin after a month!

Let us tell you that in the first phase, the system will be updated on the national highways of 4 lanes and more in the country. Currently, this plan is being considered and talks are being held with different stakeholders. Talks with banks are in an advanced stage but this system can be implemented after a month.
