Toll Tax rate Hike: NHAI released a new rate list of tax rates for toll plazas built on this highway

The cost of vehicles passing through Delhi-Jaipur Highway is going to increase. NHAI i.e. National Highway Authority of India has released a new rate list of tax rates for Kherki Daula toll plaza built on this highway.

In the new rate list, toll tax on heavy vehicles has been increased by Rs 5. At the same time, no change has been made in the toll tax for small vehicles like cars and jeeps. About 60 thousand vehicles pass through this toll plaza daily. Most of them travel between Manesar and Delhi or Gurgaon.

Will be applicable from midnight of 31 March

This increase in toll tax will be applicable on single journey. The increased tax will be applicable from midnight of 31 March. In such a situation, the travel cost for big vehicles will increase. According to the new rate list, small vehicles like private cars, jeeps and vans will have to pay only Rs 85 as toll tax as before. But, their monthly pass has increased by Rs 20. This pass will now be made for Rs 950. Commercial car, jeep and van drivers will have to pay only Rs 85 for a single journey. But, their monthly pass will be made for Rs 1255 instead of Rs 1225.

Cost of big vehicles will increase

Apart from this, light motor vehicles and mini buses will have to pay Rs 125 instead of Rs 120 for a single journey. Their monthly pass will now be made for Rs 1850. On the other hand, buses and trucks (2XL) will have to pay Rs 255 for a single journey. Their monthly pass will be made for Rs 3770. Earlier it was made for Rs 3675. Monthly passes for all these vehicles will be valid for 30 days or 40 trips. Please note that the 24-hour rule does not work at Kherki Daula toll. Even if you are returning within 24 hours, you will have to pay toll tax again.
