Toll Plaza Closed: This toll plaza will be closed from today, check all Details

Toll collection will be stopped after 12 midnight on February 17 at Commercial Toll Plaza-42 from Punhana Jurhera Road to Rajasthan border in Nuh district of Haryana. Deputy Commissioner Vishram Kumar Meena said that this toll was allotted to M/s A.S.

Multipurpose Services for a period of 18 months, the period of which is ending on February 17, 2025 at 12 midnight.

He informed that as per the announcement of Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Saini regarding the closure of this toll, instructions have also been issued by the Engineer-in-Chief, PWD (B&R) to close the commercial toll point i.e. TP-42 from the date of expiry of the contract agreement. Hence, it will be closed on 17 February 2025 at 12 midnight.

Thousands of people will benefit daily

He said that after this people will be able to take their vehicles from here without paying toll. This step of the government will benefit thousands of people every day. The people here have welcomed this decision of the government. Faridabad district is surrounded by this toll, due to which people have to pay tax at many places during the journey. To go to Gurugram, tax has to be paid near Bandhwari. Toll has to be paid to go from Ballabhgarh to Sohna. Similarly, there is Badarpur border for Delhi, Gadpuri toll for Palwal and Kiranj toll for Delhi-Mumbai Expressway.

Gurugram-Alwar road will be widened

The way for widening of Gurugram-Alwar road (Highway 248A), famous as Khooni Road in Mewat, seems to be getting paved. The administration has arranged 121 acres of land for planting trees in the four lanes of the road. Panchayats of six villages of the district have agreed to give land by submitting a proposal. Regarding the process of transferring the land given by six Gram Panchayats to the Forest Department, the administration has sent the proposal to the higher officials in Chandigarh for approval.
