Summer Vacation Delhi: There is good news for children studying in schools in Delhi. Summer vacations have been announced in schools in the capital. Schools here will remain closed from May 11 to June 30.
Along with this, the Directorate of Education, Delhi has also released the academic calendar for the academic session 2025-26 for students studying in government and government-aided schools.
According to the academic calendar, the summer vacation of children will end on June 30. But teachers will have to report to schools two days before on April 28. The calendar also states that admissions for classes VI to VIII will be done at the school level throughout the year. While unplanned admissions will be in three cycles and registration for these will also be done in three phases.
Compartment exam results to be announced on May 8
According to the calendar, the results of the compartment exams of classes 5th, 7th, 9th and 11th will be released on May 8. Apart from this, the mid-term exams will be conducted from September 15 to October 10.
Winter holidays from January 1st
The Delhi Education Directorate has also announced the autumn vacations. This vacation will be from September 29 to October 1. Whereas, the winter vacations will be from January 1 to January 15, 2026.
