Subhadra Yojana: Women will get Rs 50,000, installments will be available for five years, Apply immediately

Subhadra Yojana : The government has launched the Subhadra Yojana scheme. Under the new government scheme, women will get Rs 10,000. This money will be available for five years.

Actually, the BJP government in Odisha has announced ‘Subhadra Yojana’ for women empowerment. Under this scheme, more than 1 crore women aged between 21 and 60 years will get Rs 10,000 every year, which will be given in two installments. Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has released the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) of this scheme. This scheme will be launched on September 17, the birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Women will get 50,000 rupees

Announcing this scheme in the assembly, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi said that this scheme will run from 2024-25 to 2028-29. A budget of Rs 55,825 crore has been fixed for the Subhadra scheme. Every woman will be given Rs 10,000 annually (in two installments of Rs 5,000). This money will be given on the occasion of Rakshabandhan and International Women’s Day. A woman will get a total of Rs 50,000 in five years.

Women will get Subhadra Debit Card

Under the scheme, money will be deposited directly into the Aadhaar-linked bank account of the beneficiary woman. Women will also get a ‘Subhadra Debit Card’. Apart from this, 100 women who make the highest number of digital transactions in each Gram Panchayat and urban body will also get an additional incentive of Rs 500.

To avail the benefits of the scheme, women can get the forms for free from Anganwadi centres, block offices, Mo-Seva centres and Jan Seva Kendras. Apart from this, ‘Subhadra Society’ will be formed to monitor the scheme, which will work under the Women and Child Development Department. This scheme has been implemented by the BJP government as part of its election promise, and it is being considered an important step towards gaining the support of women in Odisha.

These women will not get the benefit of the scheme

However, women from financially well-off families, government employees or taxpayers will not be eligible for this scheme. Also, women who are receiving assistance of Rs 1,500 or more per month under any other government scheme will not be able to avail the benefits of this scheme.
