New Delhi. Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and National Exchange (NSE) will not have trading for a total of 12 days in the next month i.e. March 2025. There will be more Saturdays.
Due to Sunday’s weekly holiday and the festivals of Holi and Eid ul Fitr, the stock market will not have trading for 12 days next month. According to the share market holiday calendar, in the year 2025, there will be no trading on BSE and NSE for 14 days except weekly holidays.
Next month, i.e. in March 2025, there will be no work in the stock market on 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30 March due to Sunday’s weekly holiday. Similarly, there will be a holiday in the stock market on 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29 March due to Saturday. The stock market will be closed on 14 March due to Holi, while on 31 March 2025, there will be a holiday in the market due to the festival of Eid-ul-Fitr (Ramadan Eid).
The market will remain closed for three consecutive days
. Next month, the stock market will remain closed for three days twice. Holi is on Friday, 14 March. After this, there will be no trading for three consecutive days due to weekly holidays on Saturday, 15 March and Sunday, 16 March. Similarly, the stock market will remain closed from 29 to 31 March. 29 March is Saturday and 30 March is Sunday. There is a holiday on Eid-ul-Fitr on 31 March.

Apart from Saturday and Sunday holidays, the stock market is going to remain closed for a total of 14 days in the year 2025. Many festivals are going to come on Saturday and Sunday in the new year. Due to this, the holidays have reduced a bit this time. Shri Ram Navami on 6 April is on Sunday. Similarly, Muharram on 6 July is also on Sunday. Bakrid is on 7 June, Saturday. - 27 August 2025: It is Ganesh Chaturthi on this day, hence the stock market will remain closed.
- 2 October 2025: The market will be closed on account of Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti and Dussehra.
- 21 October 2025: There will be a holiday in the stock market due to Diwali Laxmi Pujan. There will be Muhurat trading on this day, the time for which will be announced later.
