Stock Market and Bank Closed Today: Due to Mahavir Jayanti in many cities of the country, there is a holiday in bank and government offices. According to the calendar of the Reserve Bank of India, banks will remain closed in many cities. At the same time, the stock market will also remain closed today i.e. on 4th April due to Mahavir Jayanti.
According to the BSE and NSE calendar, there is going to be a three-day holiday in the stock market this month, in which the market will remain closed today i.e. on 4th April due to Mahavir Jayanti, 7th on Good Friday and 14th on account of Babasaheb Ambedkar’s birth anniversary. In the meantime, further trading will commence from the next day.
There will be no trading today
Tuesday i.e. today, along with the stock market, the morning session of the Multi Commodity Exchange will remain closed. While the evening session will be open from 5 pm to 11.30 pm. All withdrawal fund requests will now be processed from 5th April. Trading on Share Credit Bill Amount, F&O and MCX will not happen on 4th April 2023.
Where will the banks remain closed on April 4
Banks are going to remain closed in Ahmedabad, Aizawl, Belapur, Bengaluru, Chandigarh, Chennai, Kanpur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, New Delhi, Raipur and Ranchi due to Mahavir Jayanti. At the same time, due to Babu Jagjivan Ram Jayanti in Hyderabad, banks will remain closed on April 5 as well.
