SpiceJet, an airline company providing affordable aviation services, announced on Tuesday an increase in the salary of its pilots (captains). The airline said it will now pay its pilots a monthly salary of Rs 7.5 lakh for 75 flying hours. Apart from this, the airline has also announced an award for pilots, which will be linked to showing loyalty to work.

Apart from pilots, the company has also increased the salaries of instructors and first officers. The airline said in a statement that the monthly salary of the pilots is being increased to Rs 7.5 lakh for 75 flying hours. This increase has come into effect from May 16, 2023. Earlier, in November 2022, the airline had increased the salary of its pilots to Rs 7 lakh for a monthly flight of 80 hours. This means that on the one hand the company has increased the money, while the flight ie working hours have been reduced.
Ajay Singh announced
SpiceJet has increased the salary of its employees like pilots, trainers and first officers on its 18th anniversary. On this occasion, the company’s chairman Ajay Singh told the employees that SpiceJet has decided to revive those planes, which are currently grounded. For this, the company will use the money received from the ECLGS scheme and the amount of $ 50 million received from the internal account.
