New information is coming to the fore about Vande Bharat Express, a semi-high speed train of Indian Railways. It is being said that the Sleeper Vande Bharat version of the train may come soon to run on the track.
Explain that the coaches of the sleeper version of Vande Bharat Express will be made of aluminum and it will be designed to run at a maximum speed of 220 kilometers per hour. However, for the journey, this sleeper train will run at a speed of 200 kilometers per hour.
Let us tell you that all the Vande Bharat trains which are operating in the country till now are chair cars. That is, in these trains you can travel only by sitting. Now the railway is preparing to bring its sleeper version back on track soon. With this, passengers will have more convenience in traveling in this high speed train.
Tender for 400 new Vande Bharat trains issued
Railways has issued tender for 400 new Vande Bharat trains. 4 big domestic and foreign companies have expressed interest in making this train. Please tell that out of these trains, the first 200 Vande Bharat trains will be made chair cars. These trains will be designed to run at a speed of 180 kmph. But keeping in view the safety on the track, they will be run at a speed of 130 kmph.
All trains will be ready in 2 years
Out of the new 400 Vande Bharat trains, 200 trains will be prepared for sleeper coaches. These trains made of aluminum will be designed to run at a speed of 220 km per hour. But their speed on the track will be maximum 200 kmph. All these 400 trains will be ready in the next 2 years.
Vande Bharat will replace Shatabdi and Rajdhani
On both the Delhi-Mumbai and Delhi-Kolkata railway routes, arrangements are being made to avoid train collisions at a cost of Rs 1,800 crore. For this, the railway track is being repaired and the signal system is being fixed. The chair car version of Vande Bharat trains will gradually replace the Shatabdi Express. While its sleeper version will come on track to replace Rajdhani Express.
