Schools Closed in Delhi NCR Manipur- India is seeing a big difference in the weather of different states at the same time. Cold weather is setting in in North India while a red alert for heavy rain has been issued in South India.

In view of these circumstances, schools are closed for various reasons in different states. The hybrid mode will be in effect in schools in Delhi-NCR till Monday, meaning that classes can also be held in online mode.

The weather of different states of India can be estimated from the fact that the level of pollution has increased in many cities including Delhi, Noida, Greater Noida, Ghaziabad, Gurugram, Faridabad since October. With the onset of winter, fog has also started appearing in North India. Along with this, there is a possibility of heavy rain in South India due to the impact of Cyclone Fengal. From Delhi, Manipur to Chennai and Puducherry, the decision to close schools has been taken for various reasons.

Delhi Schools Closed: Are schools closed in Delhi?

After the holidays of Diwali and Chhath Puja in Delhi, the students were getting adjusted in school, then like every year, the pollution level suddenly started increasing this time too. Many places including Delhi, Noida, Greater Noida, Gurugram, Ghaziabad, Faridabad recorded AQI between 500-1800. In this situation, the Supreme Court had ordered the closure of schools in Delhi-NCR as soon as Group 4 came into force. Currently, the schools of Delhi-NCR will remain on hybrid mode till Monday.

Manipur Schools Reopening: When will schools reopen in Manipur?

Schools in Imphal Valley and Jiribam were closed for two weeks after the Manipur violence. Now, an order has been issued to open schools and colleges from today i.e. 29 November 2024. All the schools and colleges in these two places were closed for the last 13 days. The N Biren Singh government of the state has announced the opening of schools. The decision to resume classes in schools and other educational institutions has been taken on the advice of the home department.

Chennai Schools Closed: Why are schools closed in Chennai and Puducherry?

A red alert has been issued across Tamil Nadu including Chennai due to Cyclone Fengal. Due to this, schools, colleges and other educational institutions have been ordered to remain closed in many places in South India including Chennai. The government has decided to close schools and colleges in the Union Territory of Puducherry.
