Schools Closed: The devastation caused by the rains is not taking the name of stopping. From Delhi to Uttarakhand, lakhs of lives got disturbed due to flood. Because of this, schools also had to be closed for many days at many places.
The latest update in this regard is that schools in some districts of Himachal Pradesh have been closed in view of the danger of landslides and floods. The government has passed an order in this regard. This order has been issued by the Deputy Commissioner of Kinnaur district. Under this, all government, private schools, pre schools and Anganwadi centers will remain closed till 22 July 2023. This order is applicable to all the schools of Sub-Division Nichar and Tehsil Nangla.

In this regard, the Deputy Commissioner of Kinnaur District has tweeted. It is written that, in view of the danger of landslides and floods, all government, private schools, pre-schools and Anganwadi centers of sub-division Nichar and tehsil Nangla will remain closed from 20 to 22 July 2023.

In Himachal Pradesh, about 108 people lost their lives in recent heavy rains, landslides and devastation caused by rains. This week three people met with an accident and many vehicles were damaged. Schools closed in Mumbai and Telangana as well
Schools in Mumbai have also been kept closed today i.e. on 20th July. This has been done in view of the warning of heavy rain here. IMD had issued red alert for some places and yellow alert for some. Similarly, the Telangana government has closed the schools for two days i.e. on Thursday and Friday.
