School Time Table Changed: Haryana Government has changed the timings of schools in the state. This new time table has come into effect from today, February 17 and will remain in effect till November 14.
This time the time change has been made in advance, whereas usually this change was made from March 1.
The timings of single shift schools running in the state will now run from 8:00 am to 2:30 pm. Earlier, schools used to start at 9:30 am and run till 3:30 pm. Where classes are run in double shifts, the timings have also been changed. Now the first shift will run from 7:00 am to 12:30 pm while the second shift will run from 12:45 pm to 6:15 pm.
The aim of the time change in Haryana is to make education more accessible for children and protect them from the effects of summer. This will give students the opportunity to study in a better environment. This new time table has come into effect from today, February 17. This change will remain in effect till November 14. Earlier this change was made from March 1 but this time it has been implemented soon.
