School Time Change: As soon as the month of October started, many things started changing. Before the onset of summer, the education department has announced to change the school timings.
While in Punjab it was decided to change the school timings from October 1, in Rajasthan there is uncertainty about the change in timings in government schools from October 1. In Rajasthan, every year from October 1, the school timings are changed from 10 am to 4 pm, but this year due to the heat of the weather, teacher organizations have demanded to postpone this change.
Although the education department has not taken any final decision yet, it is expected to take a decision on September 30. Teachers’ organizations say that the current timing of schools, i.e. 7:30 am to 1 pm, should be kept to protect children from heat. Teachers’ organizations are demanding to postpone the time change till October 15, when the weather will become cooler.
Let us tell you that even in 2022 and 2023, the school timings were not changed from October 1 and it ran from 7:30 am to 1 pm only. This year too, it is expected that the same timings will be applicable. According to the Education Department, there is a rule to change the timings from October 1 every year under Shivira Panchang, but the final decision will now be taken tomorrow.
