School New Timings: School timings have changed from Monday, April 7. From now on, children will have to get ready early in the morning to go to school. Bihar’s education department has decided to change the school timings due to summer. Now schools will start at 6.30 am. Children will be dismissed before 12:30 pm.
The Education Department issued an order in this regard on Friday, April 4, 2025. The new time table in government schools will be in force from April 7 to June 1. The Secondary Education Office of the Bihar Education Department had issued a new time table for government schools on Friday. In the issued orders, the school opening time has been fixed at 6.30 am.
After the prayer in the school, the first class will start at 7 am. There will be a 40-minute break at 9 am. After a total of 6 classes, the students will be dismissed at 12.20 pm. Along with this, the teachers will be dismissed at 12:30 pm.
Let us tell you that the heat wave in Bihar is continuously increasing. In the last few days, the mercury had crossed 40 degrees in South Bihar. There is a possibility of heat wave with intense heat in the coming days. In such a situation, the teachers’ union and parents were continuously demanding a change in the timings of schools. Keeping this in mind, the timings of schools have been changed.
