School Time Table Changed: The Haryana government has announced a change in the timings of schools in the state. This new time table will be effective from February 17 and will remain in force till November 14. This time the time change is being implemented earlier, whereas usually this change was made from March 1.
The timing of single shift schools operating in the state will now start from 8:00 am to 2:30 pm. Earlier, schools used to start at 9:30 am and run till 3:30 pm. Where classes are conducted in double shifts, the timing has also been changed. Now the first shift will run from 7:00 am to 12:30 pm while the second shift will run from 12:45 pm to 6:15 pm.
The purpose of the time change in Haryana is to make the studies of children more convenient and reduce the effect of summer. This will give the students an opportunity to study in a better environment. This new time table will be implemented from February 17. This change will remain effective till November 14. Earlier this change was made from March 1, but this time it has been implemented early.
With the implementation of the new time table, students and teachers have been advised to make necessary changes in their schedule.
