School teachers/Student: There is important news for the teachers of Uttar Pradesh. A new system is going to be implemented in basic schools from today, Monday 20th November, under which teachers will now have to mark attendance both while coming and going.
During this period, if teachers reach school 15 minutes late in the morning, their entire day’s salary will be deducted. In the evening also they will have to stay late by 15 minutes.

According to the information, at present this system is being implemented in seven districts Lucknow, Hardoi, Lakhimpur Kheri, Rae Bareli, Sitapur, Unnao and Shravasti from November 20 and then it will be implemented in the entire state from December. Under the new arrangement, the Prerna portal will be open from 8:45 to 9 pm in winter and from 7:45 to 8 pm in summer season from April 1 to September 30.
Similarly, after holidays there will be attendance on the portal from 2:15 to 2:30 and during winters from 3:15 to 3:30 in the evening. After the fixed time the portal will stop working. Details of SDM can also be recorded from 12 to 12.30 pm. Here, the Primary Teachers Association has opposed this order and has demanded changes in it.
Biometric attendance system, salaries of teachers and employees will be cut
Apart from this, the Higher Education Department has also given strict instructions to the principals of government degree colleges and non-government aided degree colleges to make arrangements for recording the biometric attendance of students, teachers and employees within a week, otherwise. Due to negligence, the salaries of teachers and employees of degree colleges can also be stopped. For this, accountability has been fixed on the principals of the concerned colleges.
