School Holiday: Dussehra holiday has started, schools will remain closed for 8 days

School Holiday: The month of October is going on. Apart from Dussehra, there are many festivals this month. Holidays have already been announced for this. Yes… holidays for the academic session 2024-25 have been announced a few days ago in Chhattisgarh.

In this list, a total of 64 days of holidays are mentioned in schools and B.Ed-D. Ed colleges in this session. For this, the Directorate of Public Instruction had sent a letter to the Education Department announcing the holiday. In this, information was given about keeping the schools closed during Dussehra and Diwali holidays.

School Holiday Diwali and Dussehra 2024 : 8 days holiday in Dussehra and Diwali
According to the proposal, on the occasion of Dussehra, schools will have a 6-day holiday from 7 October i.e. Monday to 12 October. As there is a Sunday before and after this, children have got an additional two days of holiday.

In total, schools have been given a holiday for 8 days. Apart from this, on the occasion of Diwali, a 6-day holiday has been given from 28 October to 2 November. This holiday is also preceded and followed by a Sunday, i.e. a holiday. This means that children will be able to enjoy the festival with their families for 8 days during this festival as well.

School Holiday Winter Vacation: How many days will the winter vacation be?

The winter vacation will be for 6 days from 23 December to 28 December, while the summer vacation is proposed to be for a total of 46 days from 1 May to 15 June. According to the proposal, schools will remain closed for a total of 64 days.

Dussehra Date 2024 : When is Dussehra?

This year people will celebrate Dussehra on October 12. According to the Udaya date, Sharadiya Navratri is going on from October 3, 2024, which will end on October 12, 2024.

Diwali 2024 Date: When is Diwali?

The 5-day long Diwali festival will start from October 29 this year and will continue till November 3. The festival of Deepawali starts from Dhanteras. This festival ends on Bhaiya Dooj. People will celebrate Deepawali and Laxmi Puja on November 1 this year.
