Faridabad. Giving relief to school students, District Deputy Commissioner Vikram Singh has announced to extend the holidays of government and private schools till 31 May.

So that children can be saved from the heat. The holidays of the last three days were ending on Sunday. In such a situation, the school management was preparing to open the school on Monday.

Due to the onset of Nautapa from Saturday, parents were also worried about their children. The students of government schools were facing the most problems in the 46 degree temperature. Because due to the absence of a generator in the school, the students had to sit under the open sky and study when there was a power cut.

There is no provision of water cooler

Apart from this, most schools do not have water coolers, due to which children have to drink hot water. Many primary schools do not even have benches for children, due to which students study sitting on mats.

Holiday declared till 31 May

Haryana Primary Teacher Association had also demanded a school holiday for children from the district administration. Due to which the Deputy Commissioner has announced a holiday till 31 May. According to the Teacher Association, the Directorate of Education may also issue an order for summer vacation before 31 May.
