Today, on 03 February 2025, Amrit Snan is being done in Prayagraj Maha Kumbh on the special occasion of Basant Panchami. Schools are closed in many states on the occasion of Basant Panchami. Government holiday of Basant Panchami has also been declared in some districts of Uttar Pradesh (Basant Panchami Holiday).
Due to Maha Kumbh and Amrit Snan, not only Prayagraj but also Varanasi, Ayodhya and many other nearby districts are getting crowded with devotees (Mahakumbh Amrit Snan 2025). In this situation, keeping in mind the safety of children, an order has been issued to close schools till 5 February 2025. Today, 3 February 2025 is the third and last Amrit Snan of Maha Kumbh. After this, the crowd will start decreasing.
Prayagraj School Closed: How long will schools remain closed in Prayagraj?
Maha Kumbh is being organized in Prayagraj from 13 January 2025. Due to this, lakhs of devotees are reaching Prayagraj every day and crores on special days. To protect children from trouble during Maha Kumbh, all board schools up to class 8 in Prayagraj district have been closed till February 5. According to the order, classes will be conducted in online mode in all council, government, aided and English-Hindi medium schools recognized and aided by other boards in the district.
Ayodhya School Closed: Children’s fun in Ayodhya
Lakhs of devotees coming to Prayagraj for Mahakumbh 2025 are also reaching Ayodhya every day to visit the Ram temple (School Holidays in UP). After Basant Panchami and Mahakumbh, the number of pilgrims coming to the city is increasing. That is why Ayodhya District Magistrate Chandra Vijay Singh has issued an order to close all schools. All schools up to class 12th in Ayodhya Dham and surrounding blocks will remain closed till 5 February 2025.
Varanasi School Closed: Government holiday has been declared in Varanasi as well
The effect of the crowd returning from Prayagraj after bathing in Ganga and visiting Hanuman temple in Maha Kumbh is being seen till Varanasi. Some people are going to Varanasi for darshan, while some are following the same route, due to which there is a situation of crowd and jam in the district. Varanasi District Magistrate has issued an order to keep all schools up to class 12 closed till 5 February 2025. However, students and parents are advised to take information about the government holiday from the school.
Sultanpur School Closed: Holiday in Sultanpur till this date
Sultanpur in Uttar Pradesh is a place worth visiting. Sultanpur District Magistrate Kumar Harsh has made an important announcement in view of the Amrit Snan to be held on Basant Panchami during the Mahakumbh Mela 2025. In view of the possibility of a large number of devotees coming from Ayodhya to Prayagraj, all educational institutions in Sultanpur have been closed for 3 days. Now schools of all boards will remain closed till February 5. Go only after knowing the update of school opening on February 6.
