School Closed: Summer holidays have just ended. Now due to heavy rains, schools have been closed again in many districts of Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand. It has been raining continuously in Uttarakhand for the last 24 hours.

The Meteorological Department has issued a red alert for heavy rains in all the districts of Uttarakhand, especially the Kumaon division, from July 4 to 6. In view of which, officials of Nainital, Udham Singh Nagar, Champawat and Bageshwar districts have given instructions to close all schools and Anganwadi centers from class one to 12th. There is also an alert of heavy rain in Pauri district of Garhwal division. In view of this, schools and Anganwadi centers up to class 12 have been closed here too.

Schools are also closed in three districts of UP

Due to heavy rains, all schools in three districts of Uttar Pradesh will remain closed for the next three days. At the same time, schools in Lakhimpur and Sitapur will remain closed on July 4. The administration has issued an order in this regard. It has been said that classes will not run, but teachers and staff will be present in the schools. Classes up to eighth will not be conducted in all government and non-government schools in Gorakhpur, Azamgarh and Sant Kabirnagar. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of heavy rain in the coming two days.

Heavy rains in Northeast too, schools closed in Manipur

Heavy rains are also occurring in many states of the Northeast including Manipur and Assam. Due to the rains, Manipur Governor Anusuiya Uikey on Wednesday announced the closure of schools for the next two days due to heavy rains and severe floods in many areas of the state.
