School Closed in July 2023: The new month has started in the form of July. Summer vacations in schools are also about to end. Following the revised order of the state government, the summer vacations in schools were postponed by seven days.
The decision was taken keeping in mind the scorching heat prevailing in the state and a large number of people falling sick due to it. Now the clouds of monsoon have spread in the sky of the state. It has been raining heavily for several days. The temperature has also dropped, due to which the opening of schools is now considered fixed.
All government and private schools in UP are opening from tomorrow i.e. Monday, July 3. After almost half of May and the whole month of June have passed in the holidays, now the students have to prepare themselves to go to school daily. In such a situation, there will be curiosity in their mind to know whether there will be school holidays in July also. Today we have brought a list for you for how many days the school will remain closed in the month of July.
How many days school will remain closed in July
Sunday is a public holiday in schools as in offices. According to this, there are five Sundays in the month of July. Out of these, even if today’s date i.e. Sunday 2 July is removed, four remain. Thus, due to Sundays on 9th, 16th, 23rd and 30th July the schools will remain closed. Apart from this, due to the festival of Muharram on July 29, schools will also remain closed. Thus schools will remain closed for a total of five days in July.
Summer vacation was extended in schools
In view of the unbearable heat in the state, the Basic Education Department had announced summer vacations in schools from May 20 to June 15. Seeing no change in the weather around June 15, it was extended till June 25. After this, the schools were ordered to be closed till July 2, once again extending seven days.
