Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal gave this information through social media platform X (formerly Twitter). Let us tell you that due to incidents of stubble burning on Thursday, November 2, there was smog in Delhi throughout the day. Therefore, the government has announced the closure of up to five government schools.

Scientists warn of increase in pollution

Looking at the pollution in Delhi, scientists have warned of increase in pollution in the entire Delhi NCR in the next two weeks. At the same time, doctors have also warned about breathing related problems. Due to this pollution, there is a possibility of increased risk of diseases like asthma and lung in children and elderly people. Let us tell you that more than 400 air quality index has been recorded in many areas of NCR. Which shows a worrying situation.

AQI between 50 is considered good

Let us tell you that if AQI remains between 50 then it is considered good. If it is between 51 to 100 then the condition is satisfactory. If AQI is between 101 to 200 then the situation is considered moderate and if AQI is between 201 to 300 then the situation is bad. Whereas when AQI is between 301 to 400, the situation is considered worrying i.e. very bad. AQI between 401 and 450 is a serious situation. Whereas when AQI is more than 450, the situation becomes very serious. When AQI is between 401 to 450, non-essential construction work and less essential mining is stopped by the government.
