School Closed: Government again issued holiday order in these districts, all schools closed

School Closed. North India is in the grip of cold. There was light rain in many districts of Uttar Pradesh on Monday. Along with this, people are facing the double blow of fog in the entire state and especially in Lucknow and Noida.

In view of this situation, orders have been given to keep schools closed in most of the districts for the time being. Schools in many districts were to open between 6 to 9 January 2025 but now the winter vacation has been extended there.

Authorities in most districts of Uttar Pradesh, including Meerut, Lucknow, Kanpur, Noida, Ghaziabad, Prayagraj, Ayodhya have issued notices to close all schools(Uttar Pradesh School Holidays). Strict action will be taken against those schools which will be opened even after this order. This decision has been taken keeping in mind the safety and health of the children. In most of the districts of UP, schools will now open only after 14 January 2025.

Prayagraj Schools Closed: School holidays extended in Prayagraj

Preparations for Maha Kumbh are going on in full swing in Prayagraj. Meanwhile, in view of the cold wave, District Basic Education Officer Praveen Kumar Tiwari has issued an order to keep the schools closed. This will help in protecting school children from the problems caused by severe cold and dense fog. This order is applicable to all recognized CBSE, ICSE, UP Board and other boards’ English and Hindi medium schools in the district. Schools will remain closed here till January 9.

Ayodhya Schools Winter Vacation: When will schools open in Ayodhya?

Ayodhya, famous for Ram Mandir, is also experiencing severe cold (Ayodhya ka Mausam). Due to the cold wave alert, all schools from class 9 to 12 have been ordered to remain closed from 7 to 13 January 2025. According to District School Inspector Dr. Pawan Kumar Tiwari, a notice has been issued to close all schools on the orders of the District Magistrate. However, in the meantime, teachers and other staff will have to go to school. Let us tell you that classes up to 8th were already postponed here.

Kanpur School News: Online study is going on in Kanpur.

Cold and melting continues in the Manchester of East Kanpur (Kanpur ka Mausam). Schools up to class 8 will remain closed here till January 11, 2025. After that there will be holiday on Saturday-Sunday and then on Tuesday there will be a holiday in the schools on the occasion of Makar Sankranti. Students from class 9 to 12 in Kanpur are completing their syllabus through online study. An orange alert for fog has been issued in Kanpur till January 9, 2025.

Schools did not open in NCR either.

Some schools in NCR adjoining Delhi i.e. Noida and Ghaziabad were going to open from Monday, 6 January 2025. But in view of the cold and fog, it has been decided to keep the schools closed here as well for the time being. Online classes are being conducted in many private schools of Noida. Due to increasing cold in Meerut, winter vacation has been announced from 7 to 11 January 2025. Meerut’s Basic Education Officer Asha Chaudhary has sent a letter to all the schools in this regard.

Along with this, schools will remain closed this week in most of the districts including Agra, Mathura, Firozabad, Fatehpur, Gorakhpur.
