School Closed News: Severe cold and fog continue to prevail in the entire division including Bareilly. Due to this, holidays have been extended in schools up to class VIII.

School Holiday News: After rain and two days of sunshine, the mood of the weather has deteriorated again. Dense fog started covering the entire division including Bareilly from Tuesday night itself. Visibility became zero at many places on Wednesday morning. At the same time, the cold wind has increased the melting. The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert regarding fog for two days. Due to severe cold and fog, holidays have been extended in schools up to class VIII in three districts of the division.

Schools closed in Bareilly on Wednesday

In view of the severe cold in Bareilly, a holiday has been declared in the schools and madrasas of the district on Wednesday. DM Ravindra Kumar has declared a holiday in all government, private and council schools from class one to eight. Schools affiliated to all boards have been asked to strictly follow this order.

Holiday in Badaun till January 16

In view of the severe cold in Badaun, on the orders of DM Nidhi Srivastava, BSA Virendra Pal Singh has declared a two-day holiday in all schools up to class eight. The order states that all government and private schools up to class eight will remain closed on January 15 and 16.

Let us tell you that there was a winter session holiday till January 14. Schools were to open on January 15, but in view of the severe cold on Tuesday, the holiday was extended for two more days. Dense fog has been seen in the district since Wednesday morning.

Holiday order issued in Shahjahanpur too

District Magistrate Dharmendra Pratap Singh has issued an order to keep schools up to class 8 closed till January 16. Now schools will open on January 17. Earlier schools were to open from January 15. At the same time, classes for students from class 9 to 12 have been asked to be conducted online for two days or schools have been asked to be opened from 10 am to 3 pm.
