SBI: India’s largest public sector bank State Bank of India (SBI) has important news for customers having bank lockers. If you also have a locker in SBI Bank, then immediately finish your work first.
The c(RBI) has asked all banks to get their customers to sign the new bank locker agreement. The bank has to complete this work by 30 September. If you also have a bank locker in any branch of SBI Bank, then go there and sign your new bank locker agreement. Otherwise you may have problems later.

According to SBI, the bank has issued a revised bank locker contract incorporating the rights of the customer. This new bank locker contract is required to be signed by the customers taking the locker. The bank is also asking its customers to know the bank through SMS and email. He must go to the branch where he has a bank locker and sign his new agreement.
All banks have to complete this work by 31st December
RBI has ordered all banks to sign the new agreement by at least 50 percent of the locker holders by June 30. Banks across the country must get 75 percent of their customers signed on to the agreement by September 30 and reach 100 percent. This work has to be completed by December 31 this year. All banks have been directed to provide necessary information to their customers as well as update the status of their locker agreements on the efficient portal of RBI.

SBI customers in urban or metro cities will have to pay Rs 2,000 plus GST for the small locker.
In small towns or rural areas, the charge for a small locker will be Rs 1,500 plus GST.
– In urban or metro cities, a medium-sized locker will cost Rs 4,000 plus GST.
– In small towns or rural areas, the charge for a medium sized locker will be Rs 3,000 including GST.
– Customers who choose larger size lockers in major metro cities will have to pay Rs 8,000 plus GST.
In small towns and rural areas, the fee for a larger size locker will be Rs 6,000 plus GST.
– SBI will charge Rs 12,000 plus GST for the largest locker in major cities or metro areas.
– In small towns and rural areas, the charge for the largest locker will be Rs 9,000 plus GST.
