In this SMS, a threat was being given that if you do not update your PAN card by clicking on the link given in the SMS, then your SBI YONO account will be blocked.
PIB Fact Check warning
Late last year, a fact check department of the government (PIB Fact Check) had cautioned the account holders of State Bank of India (SBI). They were asked to avoid fake SMS. Actually, some people were receiving such SMS which were pretending to be sent by SBI Bank. It was written in these fake SMS that if you do not update your PAN card, your SBI YONO account will be blocked. These SMS were completely fake.
The Indian government has once again warned Android and iPhone users about dangerous apps. These are those apps which steal money from people’s bank accounts. Information about these apps has been given on the cyber security awareness platform ‘Cyber Dost’ run by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India.

This app mimics the real Union Bank app and tricks people into giving gifts. Cyberdost, the cyber security account of the Government of India, has tweeted and warned people to beware of fake apps. Fake Stock Trading Apps
It is worrying that fake stock trading apps are increasingly deceiving people. Many innocent people across the country have suffered losses worth lakhs of rupees due to these apps.
