HDFC bank-
HDFC Bank customer has to maintain minimum balance in the savings account. The minimum balance criteria in the city is Rs 10,000. Whereas in semi-urban branch this limit is Rs 2500.
ICICI Bank-
There is a need to maintain minimum balance in the savings account in ICICI Bank also. The customer has to keep at least Rs 10,000 in his account. Whereas account holders of semi-urban branches have to maintain a minimum balance of Rs 5,000.
Canara Bank-
A Canra Bank customer also has to keep at least Rs 2,000 in his account every month. Bank account holders in semi-urban areas have to maintain a balance of Rs 1,000 and account holders in rural areas have to maintain a balance of Rs 500.
Punjab National Bank-
Punjab National Bank (PNB) customers have to maintain a balance of Rs 10,000, semi-urban customers have to maintain a balance of Rs 2,000 and rural area customers have to maintain a balance of Rs 1,000.
