7th Pay Commission: There is a big news regarding DA i.e. dearness allowance of central employees. The salaried people working under the central government had been demanding an increase in their DA for a long time. Now the decision has been taken by the Central Government to increase the DA. Very soon, the central employees will start getting the benefit of the increased DA.
When will dearness allowance increase
Central employees will start getting the benefit of increased DA from the month of September. The central government is going to increase the dearness allowance of the employees on the occasion of this Navratri. A formal announcement to increase DA will be made on September 28. Along with the salary of October, the increased DA will also be paid.
How much DA will increase
According to the news going on in the media and the claims of experts, then the Central Government is sure to increase the DA by 4 percent. At present, dearness allowance is given to central employees at the rate of 34 percent. If there is an increase of 4 per cent, then it will increase to 38 per cent.
Explain that the government uses the data of the All India Consumer Price Index to increase the dearness allowance of the employees. In the past, it had seen an increase of 0.2 points, after which it reached 129.2 points. Looking at these figures, it is being estimated that the government can increase the DA by 4 percent. This decision of the government is sure to benefit more than 1 crore employed people and pensioners.
There will be a bumper increase in salary
According to the 7th Pay Commission, the minimum basic salary of employees is Rs 18,000 and at the level of cabinet secretary is Rs 56900. According to 38 percent, the total increase in annual DA on basic salary of Rs 18000 will be Rs 6840. If we look at the month wise, the total DA will increase by Rs 720 per month.
At the maximum basic salary bracket of Rs 56,900, the total increase in annual dearness allowance will be Rs 27,312. Those in this salary bracket will get Rs 2276 more per month as compared to 34 per cent.
