In fact, in the Nitish cabinet meeting held on Thursday, a consensus has been reached on increasing the dearness allowance. According to the information received, now the dearness allowance in Bihar has been increased to 53 percent instead of 50. The employees and pensioners of Bihar government will get the direct benefit of this decision of the Nitish government.
As soon as approval is received from the Nitish cabinet, employees and pensioners will get the arrears of increased dearness allowance from July 1, 2024. Let us tell you, 38 agendas have been approved in the cabinet meeting today. Bihar Social Media and Online Media Rules 2024 have also been approved in the Bihar Cabinet meeting.
Apart from this, in the cabinet meeting, administrative approval of Rs 120 crore 58 lakh has been given for the acquisition of 50 acres of land for the development of tourism around the Punaura Dham temple of Sitamarhi. With the aim of strengthening law and order in the urban area of ​​Patna, approval has also been given for the creation of 153 posts including 3 DSP, 3 police inspectors, 9 sub-inspectors, 18 sub-inspectors and 120 constables.
Whereas, an amount of Rs 115 crore will be spent for the implementation of the Priority Corridor under the Patna Metro Rail Project.
