Reliance Jio has signed a major deal with Elon Musk’s company SpaceX for Starlink satellite internet service in the country.
Reliance Jio announced on March 12 that the company has signed an agreement to partner with Elon Musk’s SpaceX to launch Starlink internet services in India. Earlier, Bharti Airtel had signed this agreement with SpaceX.
The agreement between Jio and SpaceX allows both companies to provide satellite internet services. Jio will provide Starlink services and solutions through both its retail outlets and online storefronts. The company plans to offer Starlink equipment in its physical stores and set up customer care.

Through this partnership, Jio and SpaceX are committed to providing reliable broadband services across the country, including in the most rural and remote areas of India. As the world’s largest mobile operator in terms of data traffic, Jio will now be able to leverage Starlink’s superior satellite internet service, benefiting millions of Jio users.
