Ration Card Update: The Government of India is running many schemes to make its citizens economically empowered and self-reliant, which are aimed at providing necessary assistance to poor and needy families.
One of the major schemes among these is the ration card system through which crores of people are taking advantage of food security. The government has started the facility of e-KYC to make this process more simple and digital. The special thing is that the government has once again extended the deadline for getting e-KYC done for ration card holders.
Ration Card e-KYC process and last date
It is mandatory for ration card holders to get e-KYC done. Without e-KYC, the ration card can be cancelled due to which the benefits of this scheme will not be available. Earlier the last date for e-KYC was 31 December 2024 but now it has been extended to February 2025.
Ways to get e-KYC done
Go to your nearest ration dealer and submit all the required documents through the ration dealer. This includes the Aadhaar card, mobile number and identity proof of the ration card family members.

- Open the app and enter your mobile number and captcha.
- Complete the process by entering OTP
