Ration Card Rules: The government has issued a new guideline for ration card holders. Under which only a few ration card holders will be able to get benefits after February 15.

The Indian government runs many schemes for the citizens of the country. Crores of people benefit from these government schemes. There are many people in India who are still unable to arrange two meals a day.

Such people are given assistance by the government. The Government of India provides ration at a low price and free of cost under the National Food Security Act. This scheme is applicable in all the states of the country.

Not everyone gets the benefit of free ration facility from the government. The government has fixed eligibility criteria for this. Only those who fulfill those eligibility criteria are given benefits by the government. The government issues ration cards for ration.

But now the government has issued a new guideline for ration card holders. Under which only some ration card holders will be able to get the benefit. After February 15, ration card holders will not get the benefit of ration facility.

Actually, the government has issued a guideline for ration card holders to get e-KYC done. Under this, it is mandatory for all ration card holders to get e-KYC done. Those who do not get e-KYC done will not get ration.

Through e-KYC, the government is identifying fake ration card holders and excluding them from this scheme. So that those who are really needy can get the benefit of this scheme. Therefore, if you have not done e-KYC till now, then do it soon.

To get e-KYC of ration card done, you can go to your nearest food supply centre and get the complete process of e-KYC done with Aadhar card. Please note that you can also get e-KYC of ration card done online.
