The purpose of ration card e-KYC is to remove from the ration card list the people taking benefit of ration in the name of ineligible and deceased such as rigging in food distribution.
Irregularities in ration distribution will be curbed
After the completion of the ration card e-KYC process, the ration being stolen in the name of dead and ineligible people will be curbed. Even at present, there are many people who are taking ration in the name of ineligible people. Due to this, a huge fraud is taking place in the process of ration distribution. After e-KYC, eligible consumers will be able to get its benefit. Changes have been made from time to time by the administration to stop the fraud in ration distribution. Earlier the process of ration distribution was started through e-POS machine and now ration is being distributed with the facility of electronic machine. In this process, the consumer puts his thumb on the machine, only after that the ration dealer gives him ration.
You can get e-KYC done till 31 December
The process of ration card e-KYC has been going on for the past several days, in which many people have also got their e-KYC done. Despite this, there are a large number of people who have not yet got e-KYC done. In this Aadhar card e-KYC process, it is necessary to get e-KYC done for all the family members whose names are in the ration card. The last date for e-KYC was fixed as 30 September, now it has been extended to 31 December for the convenience of ration consumers. In such a situation, those consumers who have not got e-KYC done, can get their e-KYC done by 31 December.
