Rainfall red alert! IMD Department has issued a yellow alert for heavy rain in 24 districts of this state

UP Weather Update: The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for heavy rain in many districts of Uttar Pradesh on Friday. During this time, a warning of thunderstorms and lightning has also been issued at many places.

After the humid heat in Uttar Pradesh, the weather has suddenly changed once again. The weather became pleasant due to the rain in Lucknow and other districts of the state on Thursday. A big drop in temperature was seen. On the other hand, the Meteorological Department has issued a heavy rain alert for Friday.

The Meteorological Department has predicted that due to the monsoon being active for the next two days, there is a possibility of heavy rain in 24 districts. At the same time, there is an alert of very heavy rain in eight districts. During this time, lightning may also strike at many places.

Meteorologist Atul Kumar Singh said that there is an alert of heavy rain in eastern Uttar Pradesh and Terai regions on Friday. During this time, rain may also occur with thunder and lightning at many places. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a yellow alert of heavy rain in Banda, Chitrakoot, Lalitpur, Jhansi, Jalaun, Hamirpur, Mahoba, Kaushambi, Prayagraj, Sonbhadra, Chandauli, Ghazipur, Azamgarh, Mau, Ballia, Basti, Siddharthnagar, Ambedkarnagar, Saharanpur, Shamli, Muzaffarnagar, Baghpat, Bijnor, Amroha, Moradabad, Rampur and surrounding areas of Bundelkhand. Apart from this, there is an alert of heavy rain in Sitapur, Ayodhya, Bahraich, Ambedkarnagar, Lakhimpur Kheri. Not only this, a warning has been issued for strong winds and lightning along with moderate rain in 40 districts including Lucknow and Kanpur.

How will the weather be in Lucknow?

On Thursday, the weather became pleasant in the capital Lucknow due to the movement of clouds and drizzle in the afternoon. According to the Meteorological Department, good rain can be seen in Lucknow on Friday as well. During this time, a drop in temperature can also be seen. It has been raining in the capital since late night. Dark clouds have been looming since morning.
