Weather Update: In Rajasthan, the Meteorological Department has issued an alert for rain in 14 districts amidst people suffering due to humidity and heat. Whereas from July 22, there will be an increase in monsoon activities. Orange alert has been issued for extremely heavy rains in Chittorgarh and Pratapgarh. The Meteorological Department has predicted an increase in rain activities in the state from July 22. There is a possibility of extremely heavy rains after July 22.
Yellow and orange alert issued for rain in 14 districts
According to the Meteorological Department, yellow and orange alerts for rain have been issued in about 14 districts of the state today. Orange alert has been issued for extremely heavy rains in Chittorgarh and Pratapgarh.
On the other hand, a yellow alert has been issued for rain with thunder and lightning in Ajmer, Banswara, Dungarpur, Jhalawar, Kota, Rajsamand, Sirohi, Udaipur, Bikaner, Jalore, Nagaur and Pali districts. According to Radheshyam Sharma, director of the Jaipur Meteorological Center, currently a low pressure (low pressure) area has formed over the Bay of Bengal and Odisha coast.
Monsoon trough line extends from Jaisalmer, Kota to the area of low pressure. Another fresh low pressure area is very likely to form over northwest Bay of Bengal on July 24. In view of this, monsoon is likely to remain active in most parts of the state during the next one week.
Monsoon activities will increase from 22
According to the Meteorological Department, due to the effect of low pressure, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain in most parts of the state. While there is a possibility of heavy rain at some places in South and West Rajasthan during the next 2 days. There is a possibility of increase in rain activities in most parts of the state from July 22-23. There is also a possibility of heavy to very heavy rain at some places.
