Amaravati: Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam and Rayalaseema are expected to receive heavy rain at isolated places in the next 24 hours.
The Meteorological Department said on Sunday that winds of 40-50 km per hour are expected in coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam and Rayalaseema during this period. During the next seven days, light to moderate rain is expected at many places in coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam and Rayalaseema.
During the last 24 hours, Tirupati district, Chittoor district, YSR district of Rayalaseema received very heavy rains. SPSR Nellore district of south coastal Andhra Pradesh also received heavy rain. Rain occurred at most places in Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam and at few places in Rayalaseema.
