Meanwhile, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an orange alert for rain in many states of the country including West Bengal, Nagaland, Mizoram and Tripura.

Possibility of heavy rain in Bihar and UP

According to the IMD, heavy to very heavy rains are expected in many parts of Bihar, Chhattisgarh and South India. Uttar Pradesh is also on alert. Continuous heavy rains are forecast here for the next five to seven days.

Light rain expected in Delhi NCR

IMD scientist Dr. Naresh Kumar said, “We have issued an orange alert for West Bengal, Nagaland, Mizoram, Tripura today and tomorrow. Very heavy rain is expected here. Heavy to very heavy rainfall is expected in Bihar, Chhattisgarh and South Peninsular region. Heavy rainfall is expected in northwestern states like Uttar Pradesh in the next five to seven days. Light rain is expected in Delhi NCR.

How will the weather of Delhi be in future?

It rained in many areas of Delhi on Sunday afternoon. This brought relief from the humid weather. IMD scientist Soma Sen said that there is a possibility of light rain in Delhi today and tomorrow. The rain is likely to end the day after tomorrow. After this, light rain will start.
