Indian Railways is going to launch its super app SwaRail soon. This app is being beta tested and it has also been listed on Google Play Store.
In this super app of railways, you will be able to avail all the services of railways from booking reservation tickets, platform tickets, unreserved tickets at one place. Many services of railways have been integrated together in this super app, due to which railway passengers will get a new experience.
What is SwaRail Super App?
This super app of Indian Railways has been developed by CRIS i.e. Center for Railway Information System. This app has integrated IRCTC’s online reservation platform RailConnect app as well as UTS on Mobile. As soon as you launch this app, you will get the option to book reserved, unreserved or unreserved and platform tickets on the home screen. Apart from this, this app will give you options like live running status of the train, food service, PNR inquiry, coach position, food order, filing refund.

IRCTC launched Rail Connect mobile app 10 years ago in 2014 for online reservation. After the launch, it was upgraded several times to improve user experience. Currently, in this app, you can book reservation tickets online as well as avail the facility of ticket cancellation, TDR file, e-chart etc. Indian Railways’ new super app will improve user experience as well as offer integrated services at one place.
This super app of Indian Railways will eliminate the need for users to have different apps for different services. Railway passengers will be able to avail all these facilities through this one app on their smartphones. Users doing beta testing are currently testing all the services available on this app. After testing, they will share the feedback of this app. After this, this app will be officially launched for all users.
