Railways reduced service: Vande Bharat will run only 3 days a week on this route, check route here

Vande Bharat: Monsoon has arrived in the country. The rains during this period cause a lot of problems in railway services. The movement of trains is affected due to waterlogging on the railway tracks.

In view of the monsoon and the possible problems caused by it, Konkan Railway has made a big announcement. According to the report of Lokmat News, Vande Bharat Express and Tejas Express running on the Konkan Railway line will run only three days a week from June 10, 2024 till the end of October.

Due to monsoon, the movement of trains on the Konkan Railway line is affected, due to which two trains running on the Konkan Railway route, Mumbai CSMT Madgaon (22229/22230) Vande Bharat Express and Mumbai CSMT – Madgaon (22119/22120) will run only three days a week from June 10, 2024 till the end of the monsoon schedule.

In the coming days, Railways is going to start the service of new Vande Bharat trains. Talking about new Vande Bharat services, Vande Bharat Metro service covering Mumbai and its sub-urban cities can be started. Apart from this, Kanpur-Lucknow Vande Bharat Metro, Delhi-Meerut Vande Bharat Metro, Mumbai-Lonavala Vande Bharat Metro, Varanasi-Prayagraj Vande Bharat Metro, Puri-Bhubaneshwar Vande Bharat Metro, Dehradun-Kathgodam Vande Bharat and Agra-Madhura-Vrindavan Vande Bharat Metro services can be started.

Trial to begin soon

Indian Railways is set to embark on a new journey with the trial runs of short-distance Vande Metro trains scheduled to take place in July. Apart from this, the trial of the sleeper version of Vande Bharat will begin next month. The trial will cover routes of over 1,000 km. Vande Metro trains designed for distances of 100-250 km will establish connections between around 124 cities.
