If you are traveling by train, you should know that the TTE cannot check your train ticket between 10 pm and 6 am. However, if you start traveling by train after 10 pm, then this rule does not apply to you.

After 10 pm, all the lights in the train must be switched off except the night light. If you switch on the light, it can disturb the sleep of fellow passengers.

You cannot talk to anyone on the phone in a loud voice after 10 pm in the train. Apart from this, even if you are traveling in a group, you cannot talk to each other in a loud voice.

If a passenger sitting in the middle berth opens his seat after 10 pm, then the passenger sitting in the lower berth cannot object to it. You must be aware of these rules while travelling in a train at night.
