TTE cannot check your ticket after 10 pm
Often passengers complain that TTEs wake them up at night to check their tickets. This disturbs their sleep. Keeping this problem of passengers in mind, Indian Railways has made a special rule.
Under this rule, TTE cannot check tickets between 10 pm and 6 am. However, this rule does not apply to passengers who are traveling in the train after 10 pm, TTE has the permission to check the tickets of those people.
Listening to music or watching videos on mobile without earphones after 10 pm
If you listen to music or watch videos on your mobile phone without earphones after 10 pm while travelling in a train, it may cause inconvenience to passengers travelling with you.
Apart from this, you cannot talk loudly at night. If a fellow passenger files a complaint against you for doing so, action can be taken against you.
