Railways Big announcement! Railways operated superfast trains between Ahmedabad and Mumbai for the World Cup final match

Mumbai : The final match of the Cricket World Cup is to be played on 19 November. This match will be played at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

A large number of spectators are expected to attend this match. In such a situation, people from Mumbai will also go to Ahmedabad to watch cricket. To ensure that people do not face any problem in going to Ahmedabad, special trains for cricket are being run by the Railways. All these trains will run from different stations in Mumbai at different times on November 18 and will go to Ahmedabad.

Announcement of trains between Mumbai and Ahmedabad

Western Railways has announced to run superfast special trains between Mumbai and Ahmedabad with the aim of providing passenger convenience and meeting the travel demand. These trains will run on special fares. Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway, Shri Sumit Thakur has issued a press release giving information about the operation of trains. According to the press release issued, the details of these trains are as follows:

Bandra Terminus-Ahmedabad Superfast Special (09001/09002)

Bandra Terminus-Ahmedabad Special Train (09001) will depart from Bandra Terminus at 23:45 hrs on Saturday, 18th November. This train will reach Ahmedabad at 07:20 am the next day. Similarly, Ahmedabad-Bandra Terminus Special (09002) will depart from Ahmedabad at 04:00 am on Monday, November 20 and reach Bandra Terminus at 12:10 am on the same day. En route, this train will stop at Borivali, Palghar, Vapi, Valsad, Navsari, Surat and Vadodara stations in both directions. This train will have First AC, AC 2-Tier, Sleeper Class and General Second Class coaches.

Mumbai Central-Ahmedabad Superfast Special (09049/09050)

Mumbai Central-Ahmedabad Special (09049) will depart Mumbai Central at 23:55 hrs on Saturday, 18th November. This train will reach Ahmedabad at 08:45 am the next day. Similarly, Ahmedabad-Mumbai Central Special (09050) will depart from Ahmedabad at 06:20 am on Monday, November 20 and reach Mumbai Central at 14:10 pm the same day.

This train will stop at Borivali, Vapi, Valsad, Surat, Bharuch and Vadodara stations in both directions. This train will have First AC, AC 2-tier, AC 3-tier, Sleeper class and General Second class coaches.

Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus-Ahmedabad Superfast Special (01153/01154)
Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus-Ahmedabad special train (01153) will depart from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus at 22:30 hrs on Saturday, 18 November. This train will reach Ahmedabad at 06:40 am the next day. Similarly, Ahmedabad-Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Special (01154) will depart from Ahmedabad at 01:45 hrs on Monday, November 20 and reach Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus at 10:35 hrs on the same day. This train will stop at Dadar, Thane, Vasai Road, Surat and Vadodara stations in both directions. This train will have First AC, AC 2-tier and AC 3-tier coaches.

Booking for train numbers 09001/09002, 09049/09050 and 01153/01154 will open from 18 November 2023 at all PRS counters and IRCTC website. The above trains will run as special trains on special fares.
