Bad news has come for the passengers traveling from Surat Railway Station in Gujarat, which comes under Western Railway Zone. According to the information received from the railway, two platforms of Surat Railway Station have been closed for the next 60 days from 8 January 2025. Let us tell you that a multi-model transportation hub is being built at Surat Railway Station.
This station is being developed to make it of world class level. Currently, there are a total of four platforms at Surat Railway Station, out of which the redevelopment work on platform number 4 is almost complete. It will be opened from January 8. Now platform number 4 will be started along with closing platform number 2-3.
So many trains were shifted
After closing platform number 2 and 3 of Surat railway station, 122 up line mail express trains stopping at platform 2 and 79 down line trains stopping at platform number 3 will be shifted to another railway station in Surat city, Udhna station, from January 8 onwards. Trains will be available from Surat railway station platform number 1 and 4 for the next 60 days from January 8 onwards.
