The country’s first private train ‘Tejas Express’ is known for its special look, facility and fast speed. On Saturday morning, the Railway Minister shared a wonderful picture of Tejas Express on his Twitter handle. In such a situation, let us introduce you to the special features of this train.
1. Tejas Express is a premium train. Which runs from Lucknow to Delhi and the other runs from Ahmedabad to Mumbai. Till now food and drink and other facilities were being given to the passengers on the lines of flight in Tejas Express. Due to which the passengers had the same experience as traveling in flight.
2. The LED in the seat will allow the passenger sitting behind to listen to songs, watch movies or play games. For this, earphones will also be made available to the passengers. 1,182 seats in the train have LCDs so that passengers can watch preloaded movies, play games and listen to songs while on the go. Passengers will be given earphones so that there is no disturbance to the adjacent passengers.
3. Along with this, the menu of catering has been prepared by famous chefs along with WiFi in the train. The fare will be costlier than Shatabdi. This is the first private train in the country which will be fully operated by IRCTC. Passengers traveling by Tejas on Friday did not get entry from the cab-way but had to enter through the main gate of the station.
4. IRCTC has taken an important step to enhance yet another facility for the passengers. Now people will also be able to shop in Tejas Express on behalf of IRCTC. For example, people will be able to buy electronic gadgets and everyday essentials in the train. IRCTC is going to start this facility, till now this facility was not there in Tejas Express.
