A half-day holiday has been announced in the district on November 12. DC Dr. By Himanshu Agarwal, in view of the Nagar Kirtan being organized by various religious organizations on November 12 on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji, keeping in mind the religious sentiments of the people, all the government and non-government schools within the limits of the Jalandhar Municipal Corporation, A half-day holiday (Punjab School Closed) has been announced in the colleges on November 12 in the afternoon.
Apart from this, there will be plenty of holidays in the month of November. There will be a total of 13 holidays in this month, including 4 Sunday holidays.
Meanwhile, there will be holidays (Punjab School Closed) on November 15, 16 and 17 in Punjab. According to the list of holidays, November 15 is Gurpurab of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji, on which day the holiday will be held. After this, November 16 (Saturday) is the martyrdom day of martyr Sardar Kartar Singh Sarabha, due to which a holiday has been declared.
