Public holiday: Govt holiday declared in this city on 26th September, all government and private schools will remain closed.

A government holiday has been declared in Chandigarh on September 26 on the occasion of Maharaja Agrasen Jayanti. According to the notification issued by the Chandigarh UT Administration, all educational institutions and government offices will remain closed on this day.

Bihar and Jharkhand (25 September 2024, Wednesday)

In many districts of Bihar and Jharkhand, there will be a holiday in schools on September 25 due to Jiutiya festival. Students can contact their school administration for any information.

Assam (24-27 September 2024)

All government and private educational institutions will remain closed from September 24 to September 27 due to extreme heat in Kamrup district of Assam (including Guwahati). This decision has been taken keeping in mind the safety and health of the students, as many students were falling ill or fainting due to extreme temperatures.

Jammu and Kashmir (25 September 2024, Wednesday)

There will be a government holiday on September 25 in 6 districts of Jammu and Kashmir due to the second phase of voting. In these districts, 25.78 lakh voters will decide the fate of 239 candidates in 26 assembly constituencies.
