Chandigarh- Once again, a gazetted holiday has been declared in Punjab. According to the information, there will be a government holiday in the state on April 10 as well.
The state government has declared a gazetted holiday on April 10 on the occasion of Mahavir Jayanti. Due to this, there will be a holiday in schools, colleges, educational institutions and other institutions across the state.
After this, there will be government holidays on Baisakhi on April 13 and Dr. B. R. Ambedkar on April 14, Good Friday on April 18 and Lord Parashurama’s birthday on April 29. Children and their parents are preparing for the long weekend.
Banks will remain closed in many cities of the country on April 10. According to the RBI holiday list, on April 10, on the occasion of Mahavir Jayanti, all banks in Ahmedabad, Aizawl, Belapur, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Chennai, Jaipur, Kanpur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, New Delhi, Raipur and Ranchi will remain closed.

In this month, local festivals are also celebrated in many states, for which holidays are declared at the local level.
