There is going to be a three-day government holiday in Rajasthan. But despite this, work will continue in the offices in the state. Under this, despite the Sunday holiday on March 30 and the Eid holiday on March 31, the offices will be opened as usual.
In fact, despite three consecutive days of government holiday in the last week of the end of the financial year, all the offices of the Registration and Stamp Department will remain open as working days. All the sub-registrar offices in the state will remain open even on Saturday, Sunday and the government holiday on March 31.
Collector (Stamp) and Deputy Inspector General of Registration, Jaipur, Dr. Gordhan Lal Sharma said that the Registration and Stamp Department is continuously making efforts to achieve the revenue targets of the financial year. As a part of this exercise, all sub-registrar offices will be kept open on Saturday, Sunday and the public holiday of March 31, where all types of documents can be registered like working days.
Special campaign by Registration and Stamp Department
It is worth mentioning that under a special campaign by the Registration and Stamp Department, a special campaign is being run to organize onsite camps for the convenience of private builders, colonizers or developers on the spot if more than 20 documents are registered in a single day, which should be availed. In this regard, a meeting of the builders, colonizers and developers of Jaipur district as well as stamp vendors was held in the Collectorate auditorium last week, which is yielding positive results.
Offices will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Keeping in mind the convenience of the general public, a new initiative has been taken by the Registration and Stamping Department for the implementation of the budget announcement, under which a sub-registrar office will be opened at every district headquarters every Monday and Friday from 8 am to 8 pm.
It is being started from Friday 28 March. Under this, the Sub Registrar Office Jaipur II located at Jaipur Collectorate will remain open from 8 am to 8 pm on Friday 28 March, as a result the general public will not need to take leave to get the registry etc. done.
It is worth noting that in order to fulfil the revenue targets, the department is being reviewed on a daily basis by the head of the department, Inspector General of Registration and Stamps Ashish Gupta along with Jaipur Divisional Commissioner Dr Poonam and District Collector Dr Jitendra Kumar Soni. Along with taking care of the facilities of the common people, the department is also giving special emphasis on fulfilling the revenue earning targets of the state government.
