There is a provision in the law

The case is registered under these sections-

Now if someone has made fake documents of your land or property, then this is also a crime in the eyes of law. You can also file a case against such a person under section 467. If someone sells your land, legal action can be taken against him also.
Section 420 of IPC
This is a very popular section. It is mainly used in many cases of property fraud. If a person has been removed from his property by using force, then this law can be used. The first thing any victim should do is use it.
Section 406 of IPC
This law is used when a person impersonates another person and breaks into his property. This has also been kept in the category of serious crime (illegal possession crime). The victim can lodge a complaint under this section in his nearest police station.
Section 467
This law applies if any property is acquired through fraudulently prepared property documents. This is also known as the law of counterfeiting. In this, the case of grabbing someone’s property by making fake documents is settled through diplomacy.
