PNB Revised Locker Agreement: Punjab National Bank (pnb) has issued a revised/supplementary locker agreement incorporating the rights of the customers. The bank has asked the customers to approach the locker holding unit (the branch where their locker is located) and get the new locker agreement executed.
The new agreement does not require any document other than a stamp paper. Keep in mind that the stamp duty will have to be borne by the customer. The applicable charges for the agreement will be levied as per the State Stamp Act. Customers have to visit branch for locker contract.
All Types Of Bank Lockers
PNB offers 13 different sizes of lockers. Therefore, all these lockers are being categorized into five categories according to different sizes.
Locker will be free if new agreement is not done
As per RBI rules, if the locker agreement is not signed (within the stipulated time), the bank can freeze it. Let us inform that earlier SBI had made changes in the locker agreement.

How much is the locker charge
- Small – Rs 1250 in rural areas and Rs 2000 in urban areas
- Medium – Rs 2500 in rural areas and Rs 3500 in urban areas
- Large – Rs 3000 in rural areas and Rs 5500 in urban areas
- Very Large – Rs 6000 in rural areas and Rs 8000 in urban areas
- XL – Rs 10000 in rural areas and Rs 10000 in urban areas
Know this important rule
The customers are allowed to use the lockers only till the time they pay the rent. New safe deposit locker agreements have been introduced by many banks, which state that customers can use the locker only for legitimate purposes, such as keeping jewelry and documents.
